You want to create an engaged workplace community–whether that be an Employee Resource Group (ERG), a Center of Excellence team, a social learning group, or something of the like.

Workplace communities are cultural powerhouses that give members a sense of belonging, break down silos, and provide a way for individuals to multiply their impact on the company.

But, without a proven blueprint to follow or other community-builders to connect with, it can be a daunting task.

Open Cohort Program

Open Cohort Programs are offered 1-2 times a year and are ideal for individuals who want to connect with fellow workplace community leaders at other organizations.

  • 6 live virtual sessions over 6 weeks filled with hands-on practice, high-quality content, and expert facilitation

  • Online discussions, individual activities, and community collaboration opportunities between each live session

  • A comprehensive community strategy guidebook that you'll complete throughout the program and use as a reference forever after

  • New relationships with the fellow members of your cohort community at other organizations

 

Internal Cohort Program

Internal Cohort Programs offer organizations an opportunity to host Community Accelerator exclusively for your internal community leaders. Internal programs can be customized to fit your needs.

  • 6 live virtual sessions over a pre-determined time filled with hands-on practice, high-quality content, and expert facilitation

  • Group discussions, individual activities, and community collaboration opportunities between each session

  • A comprehensive community strategy guidebook that participants will complete throughout the program and use as a reference forever after

  • New relationships with the fellow ERG leaders within your organization, creating an everlasting, internal support system

Self-Paced Program

All workplace community leaders are invited to join our self-paced asynchronous course where they can access Community Accelerator materials, including videos and worksheets, at their own pace. Participants can enroll and start participating at any time.

  • 6-8 hours of content with videos, hands-on activities, discussions, and articles

  • Choose your level of engagement, you’ll have the opportunity to spend as little or as much time as you want on videos, activities, activities, and discussions

  • Applied learning on your own time: focus on topics and activities when they are most relevant to you 

  • Development of a strategic Community Action Plan to share with your community members or executive sponsors

  • Open enrollment whenever you’re ready to get started

Learn how to establish a vision & purpose that you & your community members can get behind. By defining and understanding why your community exists, you’ll know how to talk about it in front of prospective members and senior leaders.

Design engaging & thoughtful member experiences

Those of us that have experienced the trials and tribulations of an unengaged community know that deep connections don’t happen overnight. Worthwhile experiences must be intentionally designed and actively managed.

Use data to align your community with your business

You may not be able to rely on traditional metrics to speak to your community's success. We’ll help you identify which metrics matter the most, and how to build a narrative that clearly aligns with your organization’s goals.

Create a strategic action plan for your community

+ Who should apply?

You! But seriously. If you are aspiring to build a world-class workplace community (whether it be an ERG, a community of practice, a center of excellence, or something of the like), this program is for you. If you already lead a workplace community and want to redefine your purpose, reinvigorate your members, and build upon what you've already created, this program is also for you.

+ What is the time commitment for this course?

The live version is a 6-week hybrid program, meaning we'll have both live online sessions and asynchronous work. There will be 6 live online sessions that last two hours. Timing will depend on the cohort roster and respective time zones.

For the self-paced course, we recommend setting aside 1-2 hours a week to engage with the content and complete the activities. At this pace, the self-paced course will take 6-8 weeks to complete.

+ What if I have to miss a session?

We reaaaally hope you can make it to all of them. The live online sessions are highly interactive and valuable. But, of course, they will be recorded and made available to you.
